Infrastructure Engineer
Cambridge (5 days a week onsite)
£45k - £50k
The One Group has partnered with a local technology organisation, who are looking to grow their IT function. They're looking for an enthusiastic Windows Infrastructure Engineer to join the team, where you'll support day to day functions and take part in project work.
You'll join a close-knit support/infrastructure team and will have the opportunity to develop your skillset further in a variety of specific areas including Security, Storage, Networking and Windows Servers.
Please note we are looking for someone who is currently an Infrastructure Engineer/Systems Administrator or similar with proven experience supporting an organisations infrastructure.
The role
- Systems Administration
- Analyse current infrastructure and make recommendations
- Implement Security enhancements
- Desktop Support
- Act as an escalation point to the support function
- Develop business standards, processed and procedures
- Take a lead on various IT projects
- Support the personal and professional development of the Support Engineers
What are we looking for?
- Previous experience in infrastructure / Systems Administrator position
- Windows Server, DNS, Office 365, AD, Exchange, Intune ect
- VMWare for virtualisation
- Network Design
- Familiarity with Security best practises
- Excellent communications skills
- Right to work and remain in the UK without restrictions
