IT Business Analyst/Project Manager - IT Systems, ERP
Top opportunity for a Project & Business Analyst to work for an international manufacturer of high specification products for your home.
With flexible home working you will have primary responsibility for verifying, documenting and managing business requirements for a number of scale IT Systems and ERP projects.
You will ideally be experienced as an IT Project Manager and Business Analyst and will act as a partner with the business, liaising with key stakeholders to understand business problems, implement business processes and work to establish best practise solutions.
Role/Responsibilities
Acting as a key liaison between the IT department & the business
To be able to translate business needs & problem statements into a business requirement
Estimating costs & time requirements for each project
Evaluate & manage risks, and to ensure a risk management process is adopted
Ensure projects stay within budget and to time, manage exceptions through a dedicated escalation process
Develop and implement test plans/scenarios to ensure successful delivery of a project.
Build strong working relationships with the business stakeholders & process owners to define the vision & business need for a project
Documenting project requirements such as, Business Requirements, Functional Specification, User Needs, Non-functional requirements
Deliver innovative & best value options that increase ease of implementation and system usability, that is cost effective
Retaining up to date documentation on projects
Responsibility to present on project progress, to Senior Managers & Executive Team
Experience
Sound experience of working in a Project Manager role or similar
Strong Project Management skills and a firm understanding of best practice Project Management methodologies
A strong background of working with system development projects
A confident problem solver, with the ability to handle difficult situations in a mature & professional manner
A Project Management certification such as PRINCE2
A Business Analysis certification
