IT Manager - Manufacturing

Unique opportunity for an IT Manager to take full ownership of the IT systems and applications within an established and well-known food production business.
You will initially operate as a 1-man band function working closely with the existing IT MSP support provider. As the role progresses you will get the chance to own and lead several projects around - WMS, ERP, EDI and automation.
There are potential acquisitions in the pipeline, experience working in a fast-growing environment with a big increase in employee numbers and the challenges faced around this is highly desirable.

Role/Responsibilities
Manage and maintain the business IT infrastructure including the internet connection and wifi
Working with external support providers to look after all business applications
Managing all IT contracts and external IT support providers
First point of contact for desk top support for all users
IT lead for all future IT application implementations and improvements
Purchasing of IT hardware
Managing users Microsoft licenses
Maintaining all business IT security, usage controls and policies
Mix of technical and application knowledge
Knowledge of ERP systems
Knowledge of EDI would be preferable
