IT Manager - Food Manufacturing
Top opportunity for an IT Manager to take full ownership of the businesses IT department including line management of 2 network infrastructure specialists.
Reporting into the financial director you will ideally have a good knowledge of SQL and related ERP systems and have a thorough understanding of how IT works in a manufacturing or food production environment.
You will have to chance to enhance systems and processes in an expanding team, manage suppliers and take the lead on change projects.

Responsibilities/Experience
The position is suited to an IT Manager that can work with 3rd party support providers and develop business information from the mass of data.
Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to:
IT / Business Systems
Database / Data Integrity / Data Security
Documentation & procedures
Suitable candidates should possess experience of:
Microsoft Operating Systems (server & desktop)
Scripting, MS SQL, report writing
MS Office
Maintain and Support of ERP systems
Support for telephone system or similar VOIP systems.
VMWare (virtual servers).
Exchange server, spam filters.
This role combines the routine management of a small IT team, managing the company ERP and SQL estate and reporting systems, and working with the business to develop and refine its business systems to provide relevant information and drive improvements and efficiencies.
A candidate who has the drive to take the role further will enjoy this position and make the most of it. A positive "can do" attitude is essential.
It is likely that the candidate will be familiar with most of the applications / technology above and can hit the ground running with the daily routines.
