IT Support Engineer - Windows 10, LAN
Top opportunity to work in the thriving Logistics and Supply Chain sector supporting users in a growing environment at a business that have invested heavily in new technology. Lots of projects planned for this year and the position offers great technical development and progression opportunities.
You will work with the IT team to provide top quality IT support whilst also reviewing and improving service levels including all elements of the IT function from desk-based hardware, E-signature capture, cloud and mobile technology.
You will also support the IT development team and provide an interface between the development of new systems and their implementation into the day to day running of the business.
Skills
Excellent customer service skills, including strong verbal and written communication skills and a polite telephone manner
Hands-on experience working with Microsoft Technologies such as Windows10, Office, Office 365.
Understanding of core networking and IT hardware diagnosis\troubleshooting.
Remote diagnostics of desktop/mobile applications for both Windows and Android.
Good fault finding and diagnostics skills.
Responsibilities
Helpdesk Management
Management of Existing Systems and Infrastructure
Provide support to IT Systems Manager in developing Processes and Procedures
Liaising with internal and external customers on IT issues
Providing business support with existing IT systems
Supporting IT development with projects as they arise
