IT Support Technician - 1st Line, Windows Desktop

Top opportunity for a 1st Line IT Servicedesk professional to join a buoyant, tech focused end user organisation with a great market share and ample technical development opportunities.
You will own level 1 tickets and provide excellent customer service to the businesses users in a modern office environment with an inclusive culture.
The business is well established and we are looking for a long-term hire to grow with the company and progress their career under the strong guidance of the IT management team.

Technical Skills / Responsibilities
Incident and problem management
Knowledge of Windows 10 and Microsoft Office packages
Good organisational, time management and prioritisation skills
Strong ability to multitask and progress several issues/projects within a busy environment
Familiarity with Android/IOS
Basic understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration
Previous experience within an IT helpdesk/support function
Understanding of ITIL framework and/or certified (desirable)
Network troubleshooting, TCP/IP and general WAN/LAN troubleshooting
Knowledge of Active Directory administration
Be the first and last point of contact for all IT related incidents / service requests
Log all incidents / service requests within ticketing system
Own 1st line incidents / service requests or escalate to 2nd / 3rd line support where necessary
Work to SLA thresholds for all incidents / service requests
Promote/educate the correct use of software and hardware supplied through the IT department
Security access
Hardware/software configuration, support or troubleshooting
Assisting the IT Coordinator and/or IT Team Lead in projects relating to the department
