This company are a spin out of Cambridge University and have been making instrumentation for laboratories for quite a few years. Relatively new in their journey, they still have that 'start-up' feel about them and it is a fantastic and enjoyable place to work for so many.
They are expanding their team and are looking for a Lead Cleanroom Technician to play a key role in helping with production activities. Processing and preparing consumables within a clean environment, you will also have the opportunity to progress within the production team and learn new skills and techniques.
Tasks will include coating and inspecting chips, picking and packing and updating and maintaining records. It can be quite a repetitive job. Hours are quite flexible, but people tent to start and finish quite early; 7am - 3pm, etc.
This is what we're looking for…
- Experience within a scientific, high-tech industry or manufacturing environment, ideally in a cleanroom
- Experience working within a highly regulated or high compliance environment would be useful
- Good dexterity and precision and ability to work methodically and show strong attention to detail
- Supervisory/Team leading experience or a flair for 'taking the natural lead'!
