The One Group are working with a leading precision engineering company in the Ely area who are seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their team of busy engineers.
The company have an excellent reputation in the precision engineering sector and really do value their employees wellbeing. As a Maintenance Engineer you are probably tired of working shifts which don't offer any flexibility, if that's the case and you want to get out of that then this could be company for you.
My client is looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join them on a 4-day working week on straight days basis and offer flexible start and finish times to suit you.
The role will still be a hands-on position so having both mechanical and electrical knowledge to carry out the below tasks:
- Installation and fault finding as well as repairing CNC Machinery and production machinery
- Fitting mechanical & electrical parts, replacement hydraulic hoses & airlines, plumbing and limited fabrication, welding & building works
- Keeping up to date records using logs on computer to record maintenance history
- Organising quotes for required parts/service
The client is looking for someone who is experienced in working with a CNC manufacturing environment, however if you are experienced in PLC programming and electrical fault finding you will still be considered.
