Our client is a well-respected business in Huntingdon with a history of staff retention and development.
They are now looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join their friendly and busy team.
Ideally an actively studying part-qualified accountant, your role will be varied and fast-paced but not without support and duties will include;
- Accruals and prepayments
- Monthly meetings with the budget holders to review the costs vs budget
- Managing fixed asset register
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Stock revaluations and provisions
- Journals
- Overhead allocations
- Ad hoc duties
The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of accounts and how they work and will be happy to work in a deadline driven environment.
Experience of finance systems is key but strong Excel skills are essential as there will be a lot of data manipulation out of the key system
Interviews will be happening within the next few days with a view to an appointment being made by the end of February
