A fantastic new position has just become available for a Product Marketing Manager to join an established, market leading company in Cambridge. The company in question work within the software sector and are renowned internationally for their services. This is a new role for them due to continued growth and you'll be reporting into a head of department who is known for their influence and nurturing.
As a Product Marketing Manager, your main responsibility is understanding your buyers and markets from top to bottom so that you can develop the right positioning, content and strategies to reach and engage your target audience. You'll also need to possess the ability to work well with a range of internal stakeholders - you'll collaborate mostly with product management and sales, you'll need to be both technically literate and commercially minded in equal measure. Reporting into the Head of Product Marketing, key responsibilities will include: Orchestrate positioning and messaging that relates to your target market and creates opportunities for your end users to benefit from your products ; Gather market intelligence, buyer insights and competitor analysis and share findings with the wider business; Create and deliver thought out content that position you as a credible partner; Partner with Product Management to influence the future growth of the business; Essentially you'll need to be the expert in your product range!
As Product Marketing Manager, you will be an experienced marketer that has come from a product-focussed, B2B background. Ideally you will have had exposure to a software background, or alternatively a technical environment.
