An engineering / process development skill set is essential, coupled with a demonstratable ability to understand the chemistry and technology involved.

You will be supported in your continuous development and encouraged to take a senior position within the company!

The Role:

  • Provide development expertise within the x-disciplinary R&D team, dovetailing with Polymer Scientists and Electrochemists
  • Be part of the interface between R&D and Prototype Development teams
  • Lead projects focused on improving the energy storage technology
  • Lead validation, its scale-up and implementation
  • Identify development opportunities and creative solutions for improvement
  • Support development by generating new prototype concepts and carrying out experiments
  • Identify long term manufacturing strategies around potential future commercial applications and products

To apply, you will need….

  • A relevant degree or Master's
  • At least 4 years' experience in a suitable R&D environment
  • Demonstratable hands-on engineering and an understanding of chemical systems and processes
  • Experience of process development and optimisation, within pilot line manufacturing
  • Experience scaling up technology and increasing TRL
  • Project management knowledge
  • The desire to grow professionally and technically within a start-up environment

What else would get you an interview?
