- Troubleshoot ongoing problems in production, requesting design changes to maintain and enhance production throughput
- Take part in recruiting technical people in each of the engineering disciplines and forming a coherent department to act as an interface between R&D (product design) and production.
- Involvement in early product design decisions
- Ongoing support to maintain smooth production
- There is anticipated to be a considerable need (and scope) for developing the responsibilities, culture, and organisation
About You:
- Ideally Degree qualified
- At least 5 years' experience in an engineering environment
- Technical engineering background in any of mechanical, electronic or software engineering
- Demonstrable, sound understanding of electro-mechanical technologies involved
