The ONE Group are working with a Cambridge based company to recruit for a Process Engineer. The company are doing incredible things which combine electronics and organic materials such as liquid crystal. Born from a team at Cambridge University, they have grown into the successful team they are today and now require someone to provide hands-on support to back-end processes

The Role:
- Developing and maintaining fabrication processes for electronics
- Develop and carry out Liquid Crystal cell assembly and back-end processes
- Initiate failure analysis investigations
- Contribute to technology transfer projects
- Responsible for laser cutting processes.
- Basic reliability testing
- Lead continuous improvement teams, providing process and failure analysis knowledge and understanding to help resolve yield failures
- Ensure proper operation of equipment
- Plan and implement relevant experiments to help optimise deposition processes
- Documentation of processes and training operators
About You:
- Degree qualified with experience working within electronic assembly processes in a small-scale pilot production line or production facility
- Demonstrable understanding and working knowledge of polymer materials and metal films
- High attention to detail when recording and reporting results/experiments
- Strong problem-solving skills
- MS Office capable and fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Able to provide occasional support to the evening shift and occasional time abroad
