Production Area Manager | £45,000 | Peterborough | M-F Days 8-4

I am working with a business on a mission. They are not just any other manufacturer producing a bland product - they are creating their own category of production and spearheading change worldwide.

I'm seeking someone who's got a passion for driving; driving production, driving change and driving efficiencies. Someone who can take hold of a department and be that force that gets everything under control. It's truly a technical & high-volume production environment, with no comparable industry equivalent. It's more about your ability to be innovative, adaptable and be a true leader.

Managing a team of roughly 20 split over a double days shift, your role will be to lead & guide them on their journey through excellence. They're not an iron-fist business either, they need a leader who can influence others to come around to your way of thinking.

What will you need?

• Production leadership - flexible with industry. Several years minimum. But you'll need an adaptable mindset.
• Intuition - someone who doesn't just follow the script but has confidence to suggest ideas and roll with the punches.
• Six sigma/CI experience will prove highly useful
• Positive, engaging management ability
