Food manufacturing sites are fast-paced, very demanding and constantly changing. In amongst all this chaos you will find a specialist team of superheroes who manage to maintain order - the production planning team!
This lovely new role will keep you on a Monday-Friday office hours pattern, offers a great salary and the chance to work with a huge name in the UK food manufacturing scene.
Reporting into the Supply Chain Manager, you will be tasked with ensuring long and short term production plans are produced and maintained across the site, stock levels are controlled, KPI's are adhered to and ultimately - the site is producing the right quantity of product, using the right amount of materials, in the right time frame.
Needless to say, we are on the lookout for very organised individuals who have first hand experience of working in one of these fantastic, fast-paced and frantic food factories!
What will you need?
- Experience in production planning within food manufacturing
- Advanced excel skills
- ERP/MRP software usage experience
- Ability to multi-task!
