This is an opportunity for a Leader or Manager with significant experience in Quantum, Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics to lead a technical team within a fast-growing start-up based in Cambridge.

The Role:
- Hands-on technical lead, managing a small team of scientists and engineers
- Take the position of Quantum Optics and AMO Physics technical expert within the business
- Liaise with customers' and partners' technical teams to translate product requirements
- Present at international conferences
- Write scientific and white papers
About You:
- At least 5 years' relevant post-PhD technical experience, ideally with some industrial experience
- Your technical and scientific areas of experimental expertise are likely to include:
- Quantum Optics (single-photon experiments, spin-photon interfaces)
- Cavity quantum electrodynamics (matter-photon interfaces)
- Experimental optical setups, use of equipment
- AMO Physics (e.g. ion trap design)
- Demonstrable ability to deliver highly-complex technical projects
- Proven leadership skills
