The position in question is for a Receptionist/Administrative Assistant to join this close-knit team on a temporary basis whilst they recruit for the ideal permanent candidate.
The role will be paying between £10.00ph-£10.23ph dependent on experience and will be Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm. This position will be looking to start in the office once working from home restrictions are lifted/eased.
Within this role, you will be joining the front line of the charity - you'll make sure that every visitor to the office, every telephone supporter and every e-mail enquiry receives an excellent experience. You will be the first point of contact for everyone who connects with the business, meaning that you will be providing these individuals with their first impression of the charity by efficiently dealing with their enquiries, helping them to make their donations, or introducing them to a team member who can help them further. You will also be working closely with another Administrator on some day-to-day administrative tasks such as updating records.
Other day-to-day duties may include:
- Answering the main telephone line
- Managing the office inbox
- Collecting the daily incoming & outgoing post and distributing
- Assisting the finance team with processing daily donations
- Scanning and filing paperwork
The ideal candidate may have some Administrative and/or Reception experience, however this position is also open to candidates also who have to no experience and are looking to get their foot in the door of the office world.
