Sales Quotation Specialist -

Company & Job Overview:
Our Client has a vacancy for a Sales Quotation Specialist to drive sales by creating and converting customer quotations. This is a fixed-term role (12 months) covering maternity leave. The company provides safety solutions into the manufacturing and logistics/ distribution environments.

In Brief:

  • The Quotation Specialist (QS) collaborates with customers to identify product solutions.
  • Responsibilities include preparing accurate quotations, leveraging sales knowledge to convert quotes into sales orders, and maintaining CRM records.
  • The QS works closely with the external sales team.

The Role:

  • Create and deliver timely, complete quotations for customers.
  • Interact with suppliers to obtain pricing for special order items.
  • Review quote requests and ensure all necessary information is provided.
  • Manage customer requests effectively.
  • Provide up-to-date pricing information.
  • Convert quotes to sales orders.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Contribute to process improvements.
  • Understanding the company and industry challenges.
  • Effective task prioritisation and self-management.
  • Accountability for deliverables (measured through KPIs).
  • Handling fluctuating and short lead times for quotations.

Skills, Experience & Attributes:

  • Experience in account management in a B2B environment
  • Experience in estimating and quoting or customer service role
  • Has experience working with CRM and ERP systems
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Able to prioritise and develop own work schedules and influence others to achieve results.
  • Self motivated and results orientated
  • Ability to identify upsell and cross sell opportunities
  • Pays attention to detail
  • Takes keen interest in customer journey and opportunities to improve customer experience
  • Capable of working to deadlines and organised to work multiple tasks efficiently.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Hours: 38.25 hours per week (Monday to Thursday: 8:45 am to 5:30 pm, Friday: 5:00 pm finish)
  • Salary: £25,000
  • Bonus: Discretionary based on company performance
  • Location: Office-based induction, homeworking flexibility
