This company, based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire has a whopping 5000 of their specialist machines in operation, globally! They are world leaders in what they do, and are proud to have design, manufacturing and service capabilities in every region of the world.

Due to a retirement, they are looking for a Senior Global Service Engineer to join the team. As well as looking after their UK customers, you will visit areas such as the USA, Europe, South America, Thailand, India, Indonesia, Japan and Malaysia!

Travel-wise, you'll typically be spending up to two weeks away from home at a time, so you must be extremely flexible. There will also be times when you will be based at the workshop/offices in St Ives, Cambs, so you need to live fairly close. In a typical month you can expect to be travelling for around 2 - 3 weeks per month, which can often include weekends.

The role will include general maintenance, fault-finding, installation and commissioning of equipment. You'll need to have robust mechanical skills, including hydraulics and pneumatics. Electrical and PLC experience would be useful, but not essential. We're looking for someone who's experienced technically and confident dealing with customers. A full driving licence is also required.
