Solutions Engineer - IOT

100% remote IIOT Solution Engineer opportunity for one of the words largest electronics businesses undergoing exciting new ventures within the industrial solutions/IOT space including their own IIOT customer platform/software.

An industrial controls systems/automation engineer background is ideal and you will be the bridge between the SAAS sales team and the devs/engineers advising customers on software, solutions and integration.

You will work on PLC, SCADA and fieldbus architecture and need a strong understanding of industrial communication protocols, such as ProfiBus, ProfiNet, OPC-U, MODBUS.

Remote role with no office requirement however you will visit customer sites. 30% Bonus based on individual performance and company car.

Responsibilities
Working with the SaaS Sales team to Configure, Price and Quote customer IIoT implementations
Support to customers and users provisioning and onboarding the Industria solution, as well as ongoing post implementation technical support
Identifying emerging technologies that will enhance the on-premise capabilities of the Industria proposition
Inputting into the ongoing product development process, through an intimate understanding of customers problems and associated industrial data requirements
