A varied and active role as a Stores and Logistics Assistant has become available with a hi-tech organisation north of Cambridge. The company manufactures a range of industrial environmental devices used worldwide.
The role is multi-skilled where you will really be making a difference, with responsibilities ranging from goods-in support, preparation of goods for despatch and goods in the inspection as well as general warehouse management duties. As an integral part of the stores and logistics team, you will need to be flexible, motivated and have excellent attention to detail.
Previous experience in a production/stores environment is essential as is experience in secure packing methods. You will need to be computer literate with knowledge of computerised stock control systems (Sage or similar) as well as Word/Excel/Outlook. Any experienced of working with mechanical/electronic instrumentation would be a distinct advantage. Occasional local travel may be required.
