Joining this business within their stores department on a temporary to permanent basis, you'll be part of a fresh team working alongside a manager who likes to be involved, develop his staff, and ensure that his team feel valued, rewarded, and invested in. Offering a healthy salary of £22,000 - £26,000 this position is to start ASAP.
Working 8.30 - 4.30pm with an early finish on a Friday, you will be based on-site 5 days a week and therefore get the benefit of the highly subsidised canteen, on-site parking, a well-equipped office space and access to an excellent gym / fitness centre if wanted!
This position is a real hybrid mix of logistics administration and hands on warehouse support. Whilst it's advantageous to have experience of using a forklift this can very much be trained on the job as well.
On a day-to-day level you can expect to be:
- Despatching goods
- Booking couriers
- Receiving deliveries
- Answering calls and emails
- Preparing paperwork for drivers
- Checking invoices
There will be some manual handling involved in this position.
