This is a great role for someone who is fairly junior in their supply chain career.

I say that, because this role has been designed to take some of the "day to day" work away from the Supply Chain Director, and free them up for more strategic work.

This means that you'll be working very closely with a highly experienced supply chain expert who has been with the business for over ten years. And you'll be making their life easier too, so you're sure to be in the good books!

The business involved are a great success story, with enormous growth over the last few years & plenty more on the horizon.

In terms of responsibilities, it'll be a real varied bag; contacting suppliers and getting quotes, data analysis, making sure prices are up to date, working cross-functionally with the planning teams & assisting in the wider development of the supply chain function.


What experience do you need?

• Some supply chain/purchasing experience, ideally FMCG
• Good communicator - why send an email, when you can call?
• Ability to take the initiative
• Intermediate excel skills - hopefully pivot table experience
