Are you the type of person who is not afraid to ask questions? Someone who can take a minute to just step back and assess the situation? Are you willing to put yourself out there and work hard in your role? These are some of the traits that our client based in St Ives are looking for in their next employee.

We are on the look out for an immediately available Supply Operations Executive to join a current small team of 2 on an initial 3-month contract basis. This role is looking to pay between £19,000-£23,000 per annum and has the potential to go permanent for the right candidate. This role will be working remotely from home, however post-COVID will involve some travel across the UK to visit various suppliers.

In this position, you will be supporting the current team to manage the accounts of 120 different suppliers - this may involve anything from answering general queries, to introducing and training new supply users on the Supplier Admin Portal. You will also be keeping the internal administration system up to date with partner contact details and compiling the daily analysis of national, regional and localised prices. As well as these duties, you will also be monitoring the delivery options available on the website whilst maintaining an Excel spreadsheet and internal diary system.

Pre-COVID, this position would also entail visiting suppliers across the country to discuss potential coverage, NPS and late deliveries - of course at the moment this area of the role is being tackled remotely.

The ideal candidate will be very numerical with excellent attention to detail. You must have an outgoing attitude along with a knack for building relationships. Good Excel skills are a must and someone who can pick up things quickly is essential. The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, along with being focused and productive.

If this sounds like a role that would be a perfect fit for you, then click to apply!
