In a small, peaceful village just outside Cambridge, a huge transition is taking place…

An already enormous manufacturing group are being taken over, by an even larger manufacturing group.

This takeover is causing production to ramp up, and new roles are being created across the board.

How would you like to take up a brand-new role in a business that is truly booming?

We are searching for a talented, commercially-experienced individual from a manufacturing/technical world who has the capabilities to manage several multi-million pound accounts whilst simultaneously leading a small team.

This role will get you a seat in the site management team and you'll be reporting into the General Manager whilst having a dotted line into the Commercial Director. You'll inherit an impressive order book and will need to quickly build solid relationships with these customers - understanding their processes, the challenges they face, any issues they have with your products and ensuring their orders are managed internally to satisfaction.

What will you need?

  • Experience in an account management role within a manufacturing industry - essential
  • Capacity to work at a fast pace, juggling many different items at once
  • Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems
  • Technical experience of interpreting engineers drawings & BOM
  • Ability to lead and inspire a small team - experience not essential
