Like a coiled spring, this food manufacturing site has been securing new investment, new customers and some world-class senior leadership figures. The energy has been building up and up, and right now is your chance to come on board before it takes off!

Due to an internal promotion, a spot has opened up within the senior management team for a Technical Manager. Reporting into a highly experienced & highly personable Head of Technical you will be tasked with ensuring the highest levels of food safety compliance and customer management, whilst also keeping production in check.

We've got a wide range of salary available for this one, so I would be keen to speak with both experienced Technical Manager's seeking top end budgets and also people keen to venture into their first Technical Manager role. In terms of your product background - it's really not the deciding factor. Ideally you'll have BRC experience and top four COP's, but outside of that we can be flexible.

The site itself has a great range of customers; supplying to both the top four retailers and also some of the largest foodservice outlets. There's a very delicious and diverse product range available too, with quite a unique process that would be enough to keep everyone entertained!

This is your classic all-round Technical Manager position - there's no segregated customer TM team, or a Factory TM position, you will be tasked with ensuring both success in the factory and success with your customers. You'll have assistance from your strong & stable team, of course, and a fantastic Head of Technical.

What will you need?

  • Technical Experience from food manufacturing
  • Staff management experience
  • Emotional intelligence(!)
