Our Huntingdon based client is established in their sector and they are now looking for someone with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop relationships with people from a credit control perspective.

This position will be part of a small team and will be integral in ensuring that consumer debts are kept at manageable levels.

Duties will include

Chasing debts by phone, email, text and letter
Liaising with sales team to iron out any queries
Posting cash receipts
Revising payment plans if appropriate
Sending out statements
Creating and amending direct debits
Reviewing accounts in credit

Whilst Credit Control experience would be a bonus, the client is also happy to meet with people who have an affinity for customer service or sales and enjoy working with people and are interested in developing their career in a new direction.

A professional and calm manner and the ability to interact with people at all levels is key as you will be dealing with consumers who will require a tailored but firm approach.

Strong IT skills, notably in Excel are essential and experience working with CRM software would be a distinct bonus.

This role will last until at least December and a quick start is required for the right person.
