Our client's future is bright and exciting and due to an increase in business they are looking to add someone to their friendly and busy finance team.

Whist initially on a temporary basis, there is scope that this role could become a permanent fixture if the fit is right.

Additionally this would work well for someone who has a little experience in accounts and wants to develop further.

Starting as soon as possible, the duties will be varied and will include;

Checking, entering and matching invoices to purchase orders
Handling supplier queries in a timely and polite manner, escalating any queries to your manager as appropriate
Working to deadlines and ensuring payments are made in a timely and responsible manner
Supplier statement reconciliations
Assisting with sales ledger and credit control
Cashbook and bank reconciliations

The right person will quick to pick things up, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and be happy to muck in.

Training will be given so you don't need to know everything from the outset but a good understanding of accounting practices is preferred.
