Change Management & Communications Manager

The One Group are delighted to be partnering with a world-famous Media company on this once in a career opportunity. This industry giant are in the final phase of transforming their systems landscape; communicating such changes to the business is where you come in.

As Change Management and Communications Manager, your role will be to support the Programme's change management and communications agenda, embedding this transformational change into the business, and critically taking your colleagues on this important journey.

You be responsible for:

  • Developing and managing the Change Communications Strategy, approach, and execution to ensure the correct messaging and communications are made to the business and other stakeholders at the right time. This includes owning and managing the wider stakeholder engagement approach.
  • Develop the communications messages for the overall programme and individual deployments aimed at both internal and external audiences.
  • Building and fostering a wide change network within the wider business, creating a self-supporting network to educate and inform users of the new systems and processes.
  • Providing the necessary advice, education, and coaching to the business and other stakeholders regarding the proper implementation of a Change Management methodology.
  • Support the Project Manager and programme leadership team to develop governance materials such as weekly reporting and action plans.


Skills required for the role:

  • Prior experience of supporting similar change and communications functions or teams in complex transformation programmes.
  • Change management experience.
  • Be extremely proactive and be prepared to get stuck into challenges and challenging situations when they arise.
  • Experience in project/ programme communications
  • Experience in stakeholder management


In summary, the role is super varied, working on delivering a large-scale change across a global organisation. You will need to be local to Peterborough though travel to London will be required. This organisation is built on a 'attitude is more important than experience' ethos as they need someone who wants to get stuck into the detail, work through change plans and strategy, work with stakeholders throughout the change journey and generally be willing to learn and work outside your comfort zone regularly.

This incredible opportunity is a 15month FTC project which will see you play an integral role is a transformation project. You will spend on average 3 days a week in the office, and you'll have full access to company benefits despite working on a contract basis.
