The opportunity is working within a prestigious manufacturing engineering business as a CNC Maintenance Engineer which is a key member of the maintenance team currently based on a double days shift.

As a CNC Maintenance engineer the main duties is to support production equipment and facilities by implementing and carrying out detailed scheduled preventative maintenance. This will include Electrical/Mechanical skills for maintenance of CNC machine tools and associated equipment. Assess root cause of plant failure and implement effective countermeasures using FMEA.

Skills and experience should include previous experience of in-depth use of CNC controls such as Fanuc, Heidenhain, Siemens or Mitsubishi. Carrying out systematic fault-finding on all plant machinery and ancillary equipment. Qualifications that the client would like to see would include NVQ 3, HNC, HND, ONC ideally with an appropriate apprenticeship. Any previous experience of ABB robots is highly advantageous as is CNC machining
