The One Group are recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join a friendly finance team in Peterborough on a full time, permanent basis, reporting directly into the Sales Ledger Manager.
This role would see you working Monday - Friday 9am-5.30pm and responsibilities will include:
- Identify outstanding debt and organise priority for collection
- Ensure disputed invoices are resolved smoothly; checking that everything has been done to collect outstanding balances, prior to formal credit control procedures
- Manage customer relations in a timely and organised manner
- Chase overdue invoices by telephone and email within agreed timescales
- Negotiate and maintain payment plans, through direct debit or CPA to ensure ease of collection
- Take card payments
- Follow up on failed payments
In order to be successful within this role, it is essential you have prior experience in a credit control position, could hit the ground running within the role & are happy communicating to people at all levels.
In return you will be offered between £23,000-£25,000 per annum.
