The One Group are exclusively partnering with a well respected and growing business based in Peterborough, who are looking to recruit a credit controller to join their small, but friendly finance team.
This position would see you working from the office Monday - Friday, in a permanent role.
You will be supporting in expanding and developing the existing credit control activities across the business.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the invoicing of the projects side of the business
- Creating/following procedures and systems that ensure timely follow up of outstanding payments/debts
- Liaison with various stakeholders within the Company to identify possible reasons for non-payment
- Contacting customers regarding overdue payments either by email or phone, escalating to senior levels where necessary
- Monitoring debtor balances to ensure all outstanding/overdue balances are investigated and subject to collection procedures where appropriate
- Updating internal systems and advising the Finance Manager of results achieved
- Processing of employee expenses
- Reconciling of the company credit card
Requirements:
- Experience within a credit control position, to ensure you can hit the ground running
- Confidence communicating with a variety of people via phone and email
- Confident in using Excel
In return, you will receive between £24,000-£28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
