This is a brand-new role, so you won't be carrying on the work done by others, instead you'll be guiding, creating, developing - it's going to appeal to an individual who is not only passionate about Equality, Diversity and Inclusion but confident in their capabilities for driving change within a business.

Our client does not currently have an EDI Manager so this role is aimed at an individual who can develop a strategy, review current processes, create objectives and an action plan. As an EDI specialist within our client's organisation, you will partner with many individuals whilst developing the skills of the current HR and SLT team enabling them to carry on with the strategy, objectives and action plan you create and deliver.

The initial plan is for this position to be offered on a fixed term basis for 6 months, it could however be that this changes - perhaps you are consultant who offers specialist expertise in this field and 6 months of full-time work won't fit your schedule, but 9 months of part time would - we are open for conversation. There is no solution that won't be considered.

If you are looking for full time and a salary of around £30,000 - £34,000 is in the right ballpark for you then great, this position could be yours. It's important to note that this organisation is a not for profit, individuals come from across the globe to work here, not for the most attractive salary in the marketplace but because of the work they do.
