The One Group are pleased to be working with an Automotive Testing business in Bedford who hold an excellent reputation within the sector and are seeking an Engineering Manager focusing on Vehicle Safety Testing to join them on a permanent basis.

My client boasts state of the art testing facilities where you will be responsible for the daily management of a small team of passive safety test engineer and technicians ensuring testing is running smoothly.

The day to duties include:

• Manage a team of passive safety test engineers ensuring they are engaged across full scale crash, engineering systems and sled testing
• Ensure tests are delivered on time and deliverables in a right first time environment
• Test planning and resource allocation
• Identify future training needs and maintain training records

What we are looking for:

• Engineering degree or equivalent
• Team leadership experience within an automotive testing environment
• Understanding of high speed data capture techniques and hardware
• The ability to find creative solutions to problem

This is an exciting opportunity to join an established business working with a range of customers across the Automotive industries leading an established team.

This is a day shift position paying up to £56,000.00 per annum + bonus with a comprehensive benefits package.
