Job Title: IT Field Service Engineer

Salary: £27,000 + Van + Fuel Card + company pension

Type Of Employment: Permanent

Location: Birmingham

Working hours: Monday - Friday between shifts between 08:30 - 17:30

Are you an enthusiastic IT Engineer who enjoys travelling to different customer sites. If so we have a great opportunity to for you to join one of our well renowned global clients in their IT Field Services Engineering team. Driving is a big part of the role so you will need to be prepared to buckle up and enjoy life on the road.

As an IT Field Service Engineer you will:

  • Hold a Full UK driving license
  • Hold experience installing, troubleshooting, fixing a variety of hardware devices
  • Have a good all-round understanding of hardware maintenance/break-fix
  • Travel to various customer locations
  • Diagnosing and repairing a variety of IT equipment including but not limited to PCs, laptops, tablets, printers, peripherals and point of sales systems
  • Provide IT hardware support, for installs moves and changes across client sites.
  • Have the physical strength and dexterity to carry IT equipment and work in awkward or tight spaces
  • Have a positive attitude and enjoy engaging with others and maintain high levels of customer service
  • Hold experience installing, troubleshooting, fixing a variety of hardware devices
  • Be able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Hold relevant and current or be prepared to undergo vendor certifications such as Dell, Lenovo, IBM & HP
  • Hold or be eligible to obtain SC Clearance
  • Develop, grow and maintain professional working relationships with all customers & internal stakeholders
