The ONE Group is delighted to be exclusively partnering with a long standing family run business based in Spalding, who are looking for an operational and 'hands on' Finance Controller to oversee a small team and the smooth running of the finance department.

You will need to be at least AAT qualified and have ability to work in a busy accounts team with a customer- centric approach.

You will be responsible for a varied role, including the following:

• Support the transactional team with the ledger work, including invoicing, payment runs and payroll.
• Debt chasing
• Vat Returns
• Laise and report to key stakeholders on a regular basis
• Oversee, review and adhere to budgets for each department
• Cashflow forecasting
• Manage the year end audits
• Month end management accounts
• Maintain accurate stock figures
• Analys the financial climate and market trends to assist in creating strategic plans for the future.

This role requires you to be fully site based, therefore you must live a commutable distance to Spalding.

For the right person and someone who is willing to put the work in, there is the opportunity to step into a Head of Finance position in the next few years.

The hours are Monday to Friday, 9.00-5.00 with a 30 minuet lunch break. Your start and finish time can be flexible if you prefer to start earlier.

The salary for the role is paying up to £50,000 per annum depending on experience.
