Firmware Lead
Contract - up to 12 months, potential for further extension
Hybrid - 2/3 days a week in the Cambridge office
Open on Day rates (outside IR35)
We're working with a leading Research & Scientific company based on the Cambridge Science Park as they seek a Firmware Engineer to come in on a contract basis to support the drive of a potential game-changing product. You will have the opportunity to take a product from conception of idea all the way to taking a product to market.
The position will be heavily hands on, requiring strong technical understanding of Embedded Systems Software Development & Hardware Design. Responsibilities will include defining the product requirements alongside the Product team, defining the architecture of the firmware & representing firmware across the business, as well as with stakeholders.
Experience with the following would be required:
- Experience as a Lead Firmware Engineer
- Prominent C, C++ or Python experience
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team.
