Our client, an ambitious, specialist construction business, based in the West Midlands are looking to grow and are now recruiting for a General Manager. You will join an autonomous environment and play a pivotal role in their growth plans.
Key responsibilities include:
- To lead and manage a close-knit team.
- Accountability for overseeing business development commercial processes, operations, HSE and financial management of the business.
- Develop/implement a business plan that supports an acceptable annual budget for the company, both in terms of revenue and profit.
- Conducting site visits to meet customers and ensure quality work.
- Make an immediate impact upon the business with an established understanding of all cycles of business, operations and general management, whilst reporting to the directors on progress.
This role is office based but may require some site visits across the Midlands.
To apply you will be a proven General Manager within the Construction/Building Products sector with the ability to lead a successful team to achieve company targets.
Additionally, you will be highly self-motivated with great presentation and communication skills.
On offer is a salary of £60,000 - £75,000 with other company benefits. Due to office location we are looking for candidates ideally based around but not limited to the following locations; Stafford, Lichfield, Cannock, Burton-Upon-Trent, Derby, Tamworth, Walsall and Staffordshire.
