Our client is a global business, but I am delighted to say that Indirect Tax role will be based in the Huntingdon area.

• Focusing primarily on VAT and GST for various countries in the group your duties will include;
• Producing and managing tax reports and forwarding checked data to external provider
• Producing and submitting returns for different countries
• Ensuring timely payments are made including VAT, GST and Import tax
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders in relation to tax matters and resolving or escalating queries as appropriate
• Collating invoices and taking responsibility for deferment payments

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in the field and will definitely understand VAT and its workings.

An understanding of customs would also be a distinct advantage

A strong understanding of Excel is essential alongside the ability to communicate with people at all levels in an articulate and friendly manner.

Whilst this role is ideally a full-time position, someone who is looking for part-time hours may also be considered.
