Internal Account Manager - Remote

South East coverage

Due to continuous growth, our client a UK leader is looking to appoint an Internal Account Manager. The ideal candidate shall possess to be strong, confident with an engaging personality and an ability to communicate efficiently with their customers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a thriving, active client base of 60-70 throughout the S.East.
  • Responding to all customer enquiries by issuing prices and quotations in a timely & professional manner.
  • 90% of the communication is via telephone, email & Teams.
  • Following up on all quotes and managing specific information on the systems.
  • Involved with Projects and assisting with scheduling and planning.
  • Diarising visits/ quality checks / catch up meetings with the clients if you feel the need.
  • Assisting the Commercial Manager with commercial reporting i.e. weekly won & lost reports.
  • Liaising with UK Distribution/Manufacturing Department to ensure customer orders are delivered at the desired times.
  • Building relationships, maintain good rapport and be confident in your ability to deliver what the clients need.

Desired:

  • Previous experience in a sales environment
  • Successful candidates will be keen to develop their career within sales, be open to additional training
  • Previous experience in a similar fast paced role, ideally
  • Although Building/Construction isn't essential it would be desirable
  • Exceptional customer service skills able to interact effectively with customers both in person and over the phone
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work within part of a dynamic team
  • Good attention to detail
