The One Group are working with a leading manufacturer of off highway machinery and natural gas and diesel engines and have an exciting opportunity for a Machine Systems Integration Engineer to join the team on a 6-month contract with a view for it to be extended due to an increased workload.

Joining a team of 4 engineers at the Desford facility you will be carrying out development work on a range of different machines in their test site are, due to the current climate the role will be a mixture of working from home and on site.

Working on several different tasks within the test site which may include setting up instrumentation on off highway machinery, analysing data and troubleshooting issues whether it be on hydraulics, electrical or powertrain issues it certainly shows a variety in workload.

The responsibilities of the Machine system integration engineer include:

* Validation and Calibration of Electrohydraulic Controls
* Trouble shooting hydraulic, electric, powertrain or engine issues
* Instrumentation set up, Machine Testing, Data capture and analysing machine performance via Cat ET, Vector CANape or other tools
* Involving other engineers and technical resources to address detailed technical problems.
* Working with a global team that requires virtual collaboration.
* Operate Compact Wheel Loaders, varying control tuning parameters to impact machine behaviour

Required qualifications for role:
* Knowledge of vehicle dynamics, linkage kinematics, and the machine/soil interaction to optimise compact wheel loader performance
* Experience of working on Agricultural or Off Highway Equipment
* Engineering Degree Qualification or HND with experience

The company are looking to pay up £26 per hour Umbrella company contractor.
