Our client is a growing business with many different facets to its operations`. Based in a wonderful rural location, they are currently recruiting for a nearly or newly qualified accountant to join their head office finance function based just outside of Lincoln.

Working closely with the Financial Controller, this position will be fully site-based and represents a great opportunity to consolidate experience that you will already have and allow you to continue to develop your career in finance.

Duties will be varied and will include;

Production of monthly management accounts and KPIs
Taking responsibility for the balance sheet, ensuring that risks are managed
Control and analysis of stock
Managing fixed assets
Looking after budgets and forecasts
Assisting with year end audit preparation
Ad hoc project work

The successful candidate will be close to qualifying or newly qualified and will be looking for a role where they can further expand their knowledge and learn from their peers.

Experience working in a manufacturing or FMCG environment would be highly advantageous and exposure to ERP systems would be a big bonus. Personal attributes that will be needed for this role are a keen eye for detail and an inquisitive nature that welcomes continuous improvement.
