The One Group partnering exclusively with CJ Bookkeeping Solutions to recruit their first employee.

This is an outstanding opportunity for someone to join a fast-growing business that always keeps its customers and their businesses as their primary focus, which is why they have tripled in size in the past two years.

This role will be a key support to the Founder, Charlotte, and the primary focus will be on providing accounting services to small businesses with some basic tax work thrown in for good measure.

Here is what you'll be doing

• Preparing year end accounts

• Month end reporting

• Setting on new clients in Xero

• Confirmation statement filing

• Basic tax planning work

• Bookkeeping for clients

• VAT returns

• Client relationship management and development

The perfect candidate will have proven experience of working in a practice and will be familiar with producing client accounts.

Experience using Xero would be highly advantageous and a good understanding of Excel is also key to the success of the role.

This role will be fully remote with occasional meetups to catch up on focus and strategy, but the person must be local to the area, within an hour of the Peterborough area.
