The One Group are exclusively partnering with a huge name within the FMCG industry on a brilliant opportunity for a Sales Ledger Assistant to join their ever-expanding finance team. This role provides a candidate, with a can do attitude and determination to learn, the opportunity to take their first step into finance.
A successful candidate will have a keen interest to learn finance and to kick start their career. You could be leaving college, and want to get stuck into the working world straight away, or be a finance graduate looking for that first position within the industry. Strong Excel skills are crucial and ideally you will have had some insight into finance, however this is not essential.
A good Sales Ledger will be highly organised and able to work quickly, this is a very busy role and there will be a high volume of work to get through each day:
- Raise invoices and send to the relevant customer
- Reconciling bank statements
- Setting up new customer accounts
- Keeping a record of monies in and invoices paid
- Checking VAT
Full training and support will be provided on the job, you will be learning from a very friendly and experience finance team which will provide you with a brilliant base to excel within your career and with the business.
Ideally this role will be part time, 30 hours per week, spread out through Monday-Friday, however my client would consider someone who is looking for a full time position.
