Senior Account Manager
Hybrid role - 2 days in the Northampton office

Fixed Term Contract

About the role:

A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Account Manager to be responsible for the day-to-day and strategic interactions with clients within a busy marketing agency. You will be managing client projects, maintain an excellent relationship and a good understanding of their business.

A fast-paced role in an agency where you will hit the ground running, be responsible for the biggest accounts in beverages.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Financial management, keeping budgets, creating cost estimates.
  • Project management with clients to enable regular communication.
  • Contribute to and work towards a key account plan for clients, look for opportunities for account growth and the addition of new services.
  • Interpret client briefs in clear, detailed, and comprehensive internal briefs to the creative studio team.
  • Proof and review all creative to ensure all are correct.
  • Deputise for Account Director by leading creative responses, client pitches.
  • Mentor up to one Account Manager/Account Executive in the team.


This role would be best suited to a talented individual that can demonstrate:

  • Proven history in a Senior Account Manager role or extensive experience as an Account Manager, or Project Manager ideally within an agency environment
  • Ideally some experience in retail or shopper marketing
  • Passion for service delivery at the highest level
  • Ability to deliver a wide range of projects across the marketing mix.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft and G-Suite programmes including Word/Pages, Excel/Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides and Outlook/Gmail
  • Excellent relationship building skills at all levels.
  • Great all-round communication skills
  • A 'can-do' attitude, with great initiative and willingness to get stuck in
  • Great attention to detail and the ability to adhere to brand guidelines.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace and under pressure.
