A leading software house in Cambridge is looking for a Service Desk Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis. You will be the first point of contact for internal IT issues, logging calls, resolving issues, and escalating when necessary.

Most of this role is BAU support, however you will also be given the opportunity to get involved in project work, where you will acquire new skills and develop your technical knowledge. This is one of the best software houses in the area, with a welcoming team who will support you all the way! When in office, you will also get cool perks such as a free breakfast!

You must have previous IT Support / Service Desk Experience - this is not an entry level position. Overseas candidates or those without the full right to work indefinitely will not be considered for this role.

Main Responsibilities:

  • 1st and 2nd Line Support
  • Work through tickets on the ticketing systems
  • Increase the number of requests resolved first time
  • Starter Inductions
  • IT Hardware Support / Laptop Builds

Key Skills Required:

  • O365
  • Active Directory (Preferably Azure AD)
  • Windows 7-10
  • Intune
  • Deskside support

This role is to be based out of Cambridge, however there will be some flexibility to work remotely c2 days per week.

You must have the right to work within the UK for this role and within a reasonable commutable distance of Cambridge.
