Our client who are a leading precision engineering company in the Ely area have an opportunity for an experienced skilled sheet metal worker to join a close-knit manufacturing team.
The company manufacture and supply high precision components to a number of different sectors and have a great reputation for quality work, looking after their staff and welcomes new passionate engineers.
Our client is looking for someone who has a good knowledge of sheet and fully conversant in sheet metal processes which may include fabrication, development and sheet metal assembly.
The client is ideally looking for candidates who are experienced in programming setting and operating the following machines:
- LVD Axel Laser
- Trumpf TC2020R punch
- Amada HFB 8025 CNC Pressbrake
- Amada HFE 100/30 CNC Pressbrake
The company work to the aerospace AS9100 quality standard and expect all employees to be able to follow procedures, have the ability to read complex engineering drawings and produce work to a very high standard.
The role would be a day's position having the option to work over a 4- or 5-day period as long as 37.5 hours are carried and overtime is paid at time and a third.
