I'm delighted to be partnered with a globally recognised business and group in their search for an Interim Site Management Accountant. As a longstanding client of ours, it's great to be supporting them again, but even more so because this role will facilitate some internal progression with the business too.
As the Site Management Accountant, you'll work closely with the Site Finance Lead, wider Finance Team and operational stakeholders, ensuring that the site continuous to operate as efficiently as possible. You'll be responsible for the management accounting, and business partner Operations Managers with budgets, forecasts, costings as well as develop junior members of the finance team.
Key Deliverables:
- Production of both weekly and monthly management accounts
- Support budgeting and forecasting for the site
- Conduct cost and variance analysis for the site, working closely with operations leads and their teams
- Review controls and cost processes, looking at opportunities to reduce cost were possible
- Maintain an environment of continuous improvement and look for ways to drive efficiency improvements
- Support with audits where applicable
What I'm Looking For?
- Ideally qualified Accountant, however candidates with proven, relevant experience will also be considered
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or operational environment
- Strong knowledge of continuous improvement principles
- Experience with product costing
- Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly operational stakeholders
This role is a 12-month FTC, while there is little opportunity to go permanent in this role; with them being a global group with a number of subsidiaries, there could be opportunities in other parts of the group. This role is hybrid where you'll be on site 3 days a week and offering a salary of up to £50,000 with some tremendous benefits.
