You will have experience with picking, packing and shipping, and if that is in an Engineering setting, even better. In addition, you will need to use the ERP system and have real attention to detail, it is crucial that the products coming in and going out are recorded accurately.
Working within the Operations team, your day will involve working to a pack/pick/ship sheet to get the orders ready to go out to customers, as well as receiving goods in, making sure all the orders are accurate and inputting these accordingly into the ERP system accordingly. You will also be working collaboratively with Engineers, Finance and Sales Support colleagues internally, in addition to liaising with suppliers when required and quarterly cycle counts.
Continuous improvement is also a key factor and you will have the adaptability to evolve with the role as the business continues to grow.
What do we need from you?
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Attention to detail
- Self motivated as will need to work individually as well as in a team
- Good Microsoft Excel experience
- Experience in using ERP systems
