A good client of mine within the cyber security space are looking to recruit a Support Engineer into their busy service desk. You'll provide first line support to customers from all over the world through telephone, email and remote channels.

What you'll get involved with:

  • Be the first line of support for customers from across the globe
  • Resolve issues through telephone, email and remote channels
  • Take ownership of issues and see them through to resolution, or escalate where appropriate
  • Provide assistance with ad hoc project work
  • Support with new starter onboarding and leavers
  • Liaise with third parties and service providers when necessary

You'll be a great fit if:

  • You have previous experience in a first line support role
  • You have experience supporting Windows, MacOS and ideally Ubuntu
  • You have some experience with databases
  • You have experience with Active Directory and Exchange administration
  • You ideally have knowledge or exposure to basic network troubleshooting for
    • LAN
    • WAN
    • Firewalls
    • Switches
